Downey, CA (Orange County)- Hardwood Maple Staircase with Iron Balusters

As you know, hardwood staircases have furnished homes for hundreds of years, and the elegant craftsmanship of this wooden stair has become the focal point of this beautiful home in Downey, CA.

Long Beach, California (Los Angeles County) - Wooden Stairs

This dark wood staircase curves around and up into the second floor of this Long Beach home. The wooden balusters are white (which focuses your eyes on the dark wood stairs leading up).

This staircase was installed in a large home in Trabuco Canyon.  Notice how the iron balusters add elegance to this wooden staircase without taking away from the simplicity of the design. The carpeting over the wood also forces the eyes to focus on the the railing and iron balusters.  There are hundreds of staircase designs to choose from - and thousands of staircase parts.
